Alumni Supports

As LIGHT grows older, so do our (former) students. LIGHT’s Community Partnership Coordinator, Creative Director, and Alumni Coordinator are all LIGHT alumni. Our younger alumni have also begun to create LIGHT clubs on university campuses, e.g. Chatham University, Penn State University, and Kent State University. We expect this trend to continue at the University of Pittsburgh, Duquesne University, and across the tri-state area.

Our alumni are offered 1-on-1 supports, e.g. internship opportunities, recommendations for open positions within nonprofit partner organizations, and letters of recommendation, along with invitations to alumni-run networking events.
